Mercedes-Benz Simplex Concept
It's largely an insane blend of futuristic tech and historical Mercedes coach, the Simplex concept has seamless lines that flow like a digital illustration. Mercedes says that the look was also inspired by motorcycles, and the jewel-like details in the instrument panel come from a nautical reference. The Simplex name dates back to 1901, as the model name for the first Mercedes. It was groundbreaking back then, because the 1901 Simplex used a front-engine, rear-drive layout with a radiator in front of its engine. It was a radical approach to automotive engineering in those days.
